Job Description
The CS Inventory Assistant is a key member of the CS Spare Parts team. He/she must follow a strategic plan, which aims at achieving objectives in terms of delivery lead times, repair quality and performance as well as costs. To do so, he/she supports the management of the spare parts flow in order to meet the needs of internal (repair workshops, boutiques) and external (e.g., retailers) clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participation in the reception of suppliers’ shipments
- Verify delivery documents
- Verify the general condition of spare parts and packaging
- Check delivered quantities
Inventory management
- Support manager’s interactions with APMK (delivery returns & follow-up, participation in Logistics projects)
- Manage inventories of spare parts
- Prepare picking lists (repairs and orders)
- Receive supplier’s shipments
- Plan and execute cycle counting
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Ensure accuracy of data within ERP update part data as necessary.
Continuous improvement
- Participate to the continuous improvement of product quality (Quality Alarm, proposition of improvement, etc.) as well as of work environment (Spirale, projects, etc.)
- Guarantee application of Group’s Best Practices
Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment, and inventory control systems
- Experience with operational and logistics handling in a warehouse facility
- Previous MRP parameters experience a plus
- Ability to work cross functionally across departments and in a team environment
- Multi-tasker, with detail-oriented skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as needed with strong time-management skills
