The Role

Half of our developers are in the UK, so we hope our PM can start their day by 7a CST/8a EST ideally. Therefore, we're only accepting candidates in the US in central or eastern time zones. If you're not in those time zones, but can work these hours, please note that in your cover letter.

We’re looking for a leader from day one. If having a say in the project workflow, designing better standards, and being trusted to do the job the best way you know how sounds interesting, this could be a great match!

The Project Manager works closely with the CEO and COO to manage both internal and client projects in a timely manner and with precision. We are an agile service based company with each project requiring different levels of management and coordination, so the project manager should be able to scale as needed. We are looking for a person that can combine high level project management skills in the software development space and thought leadership to help optimize and drive company initiatives.

An ideal candidate will fulfill the following requirements:

• 3 years of experience project managing software development projects from conception to launch. Ideally in an agency setting.
• Proficient in project estimating for software development, great at keeping projects on track and in budget
• Possess a solid understanding of front and back end design principles and system architecture - fluency in tech speak is a plus!
• Great soft skills with the ability to read people and communicate at a high level
• Scrum/Agile is our preferred methodology, but as with anything we use some of everything
• Development experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• PMP is a plus
• Ideally be located in Madison or Rockford. We hope to hire someone in close proximity to our current team and who'd be willing to meet up occasionally. Otherwise, US applicants only in Central or Eastern time zones.

Salary

$75,000-95,000

W2 for hires in IL or WI, 1099 for hires outside of those states.
