We’re looking for a full-time Technical Writer for our West Jordan, Utah office!
The Technical Writer is responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation that supports the development, manufacturing, and usage of products. This role involves collaborating with various departments, including engineering, quality, production, and sales teams to ensure all technical materials, such as Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and training materials, are well-written, easily understood, and aligned with company standards.

We’re looking for a full-time Technical Writer for our West Jordan, Utah office!
The Technical Writer is responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation that supports the development, manufacturing, and usage of products. This role involves collaborating with various departments, including engineering, quality, production, and sales teams to ensure all technical materials, such as Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and training materials, are well-written, easily understood, and aligned with company standards.
Duties Include
- Create and Maintain Documentation – Develop user manuals, technical guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation.
- Translate Complex Information – Convert technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible content for different audiences, including end-users, developers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Teams – Work with product managers and stake holders to gather information and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure Consistency and Compliance – Maintain consistency in documentation style and structure, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Update and Revise Content – Keep documentation up to date with product changes, process improvements, or software updates.
- Support Training and Communication – Assist in developing training materials, FAQs, and internal communications to enhance user understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Or equivalent background and experience in this field.
- Certification in Technical Writing is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical writing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
- Excellent research and interviewing skills for gathering technical information.
- Familiarity with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Monday.com, etc.
- Ability to create or edit diagrams, illustrations, and screenshots using tools like Visio, Lucid, or Adobe Illustrator.
- Ability to follow corporate style guides and maintain consistency in tone and terminology.
