```Responsibilities```
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the system
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays or payments from patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
```Requirements```
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar front desk role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficient in using office software systems such as Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in patient records and documentation
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
