HEARING INSTRUMENT SPECIALIST position available in San Jose, CA. Duties incl : Operate audiometric eqpmt & interpret the results. Provide quality care & aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests & hearing aid fittings. Educate & train hearing aid users of best practices. Perform checks on hearing aids & other amplification devices. Troubleshoot, repair, & clean hearing aids & earmolds. Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care & product portfolios incl conducting hearing tests & educating patients on hearing aid devices. Perform other similar, related tasks as necessary. Reqmts : Must have a Bach's Deg in Communicative Disorders & Sciences, or a similar, related field, or the foreign equiv. Must have at least 2 yrs prior F / T exp as a Hearing Instrument Practitioner, or Hearing Aid Specialist, or in a similar hearing care provider role. Must have or be able to obtain a State of CA Hearing Aid Dispenser License (at least as a Trainee).
