What would it be like to live life without sound? Our team at Audiology Services of West Virginia ensures that our patients do not have to find out! We are a full-services paramedical audiology clinic serving hearing and balance patients in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
We are searching for a Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our hard-working team. This person would be responsible for handling incoming phone calls and greeting patients with a positive attitude! The person in this position would be responsible for answering questions and triaging phone calls as well as scheduling patients according to current office procedures and making appointment reminder phone calls. General clerical tasks such as data entry will be an additional job responsibility. In some cases, this person may be responsible for conducting patient intake, check-in, and check-out duties, collecting a brief description of why a patient is being seen and “arriving” patients to the clinic. This person must thrive in a team environment, cooperate well with others, create trust amongst their team, be a fast learner, and be able to complete multiple tasks throughout their worktime.

Thorough training will be offered upon hire! At this time our office is open Monday through Thursday and the hours for this position would be 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM each day (*NOTE: These hours are subject to change with advance notice).
Important Details: This team member’s primary focus will be on patient experience. Much of the job is spent on the phone with current and prospective patients. You must be able to multi-task with phone calls and patients in front of you. It is important that we find a person who can fit into our team culture, while also creating a warm and welcoming experience for our patients.
Required Qualifications:
- Able to self-start tasks
- Enjoys a changing and ever-growing clinic setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Phone reception experience and proficiency
- Clerical experience
- Experience with basic computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
- Experience with electronic medical records systems
- Must enjoy working in a team environment
- Must enjoy working with the public

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
