Position Overview:
In this role, you will work in both a private practice setting and in-house with a well-established ENT office. The ideal candidate will be clinically strong and passionate about providing exceptional patient care, understanding that while it may be another appointment for us, it’s a significant life event for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with ENT doctors and Audiologists
- Administer comprehensive hearing evaluations
- Counsel patients and recommend appropriate treatment
- Program and fit hearing aids
- Repair hearing aids
- Connecting Through Assessments: Initiate a bond by understanding each patient's
unique hearing journey.
- Sound Sculpting: Employ a range of audiometric tests tailored to individual needs,
crafting a personal sound experience.
- Navigating Choices Together: Guide patients through treatment options to ensure
tailored care.
- Ongoing Support: Build trust by being available for check-ups, reprogramming, or
simply offering a chat.
- Heartfelt Counseling: Provide emotional support and understanding, addressing
concerns linked to hearing challenges.
- Embracing Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in audiology and
share that knowledge to bring optimism to patients.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Audiology or Au.D
- MD state license
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience with hearing aid technology
Compensation:
- $43 per hour, plus commission.
