Our Client, a Global Financial Services Firm is looking for a Senior IT Audit Manager to join their growing team in the NY Metro Area. (Open to candidates in DFW or Tampa Bay area as well)
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Senior IT Audit Manager will act as auditor in charge, responsible for leading and managing a diverse range of IT Audit Projects.
- Manage a team of auditors on various projects, providing them with training, coaching, support and mentorship, taking ownership for their professional development.
- Manage and cultivate strong relationships with senior management, auditees, and business partners.
- Lead all phases of complex IT audits including writing and clearing audit reports, communicating with auditees, in accordance with report issuance guidelines.
- Manage full audit lifecycle and communicate any potential exceptions in meeting timelines or budgets.
- Perform annual risk-based planning.
- Execute and manage continuous monitoring testing and coordinate the development of new tests.
- Identify issues and root causes and analyze and assess their impact while identifying emerging risks.
- Perform and/or review validation of issues and remediating actions.
- Demonstrate strong compliance with company policies & practices, through good QA results and strong performance within standards and related metrics.
- Work with Audit leadership and Audit Practice team to improve and enhance internal policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8 years’ experience IT Audit and or Risk Management or related area, preferably with experience in Banking/ Financial Services.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in related area.
- Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP are not required but a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and advise on risks for large-scale technology projects, IT general controls and completing IT process audits such as SDLC, Change Management, Logical Security, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, and Incident/Problem Monitoring
- Deep understanding of Audit Standards and methodology.
- Proficiency in auditing infrastructure components is a plus (Mainframe, Unix/Linux, Windows).
- Experience with Cloud Technology (AWS, Azure, Google etc.) a plus
- Knowledge and experience with Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, and Analytics a plus.
- Understanding and experience in a regulatory and compliance environment.
