The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company is working with the world’ leading leisure business to secure a Senior Audit Associate in Miami (USA) in their Risk Advisory team. This team offers flexibility with two days working from home option as well as 30% travel in the US and Europe.
In this pivotal role, you'll conduct comprehensive reviews of key business processes, assess internal controls, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency. You will be part of a dynamic team and report to the Vice President.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and scope audits to ensure thorough coverage.
- Perform walkthroughs to understand processes and identify risks.
- Conduct testing, data analysis, and benchmarking to evaluate controls.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and assess their impact.
- Communicate audit findings to management and collaborate on action plans.
- Manage project progress, including budget and milestone tracking.
- Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance efforts.
- Support data-driven assurance programs and internal forensic investigations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business (CPA or CIA preferred or in progress).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience with a Big 4 firm, management consulting, or a large internal audit department.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships and maintain professionalism.
