Audrain Developmental Disability Services was established in 1978. ADDS is a non-profit Human Service agency serving adults with developmental disabilities who live in and around Audrain County.
ADDS believes that individuals with developmental disabilities have the right to self-determination and to lead a life with quality and to have opportunities for community inclusion. ADDS services are designed to create appropriate options that address the individual needs of each person served while encouraging growth and social interaction in the Audrain County community and the surrounding area.
We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and business related duties. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities.
An excellent Administrative Assistant is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills. You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed.
The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
- Scan and file documents electronically
- Manage set up of meetings and order meals
- Support other staff with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, open and distribute mail etc.)
- Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office
- Monitor office supplies/Light cleaning
- Run errands (bank deposits, signatures from board members, post office, supplies, etc.)
- Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by Financial Manager or Executive Director
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Experience in customer service will be a plus
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment (i.e. printer, scanner, fax, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Reliable with patience and professionalism
