Audubon is currently seeking an Air Quality Specialist to join our team. The Air Quality Specialist is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of assigned projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Reports to the Vice President in the environmental group. The successful Air Quality Specialist will provide direction and management support to project teams during the execution of projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Expertise in air quality compliance and permitting at the federal and state level.
- Ability to serve as a technical resource on air quality compliance and permitting including regulatory analyses of facilities; major and minor source air permit applications under NSR, PSD, Title V, and state-level regulations; and NESHAP MACT compliance programs.
- Ability to assist engineering team in potential design implications related to air quality regulations.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Effectively applies Audubon methodology and enforces project standards.
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Manages the project budget.
- Follows up with clients, when necessary.
- Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency and utilization related to air quality.
- Remains completely accessible to client during life of project and provides single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are process timely and appropriately.
- Drives Management of Change philosophy and enforces corresponding procedures.
- Participates as a contributing member of assigned Business Unit.
- Attend industry events and functions.
- Assist Sr. PM and Business Development Team in revenue growth.
- Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.
- Effectively utilizes each team member to his / her fullest potential.
- Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner.
- Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.
- Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
- Leads and / or acts as a member of internal teams / task forces.
