- Communicating with operators.
- Generating well design and drilling plans.
- Directing drilling activities and managing personnel.
- Planning drilling operations for oil and gas wells.
- Supervising the drilling team and ensuring that drilling operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Providing technical support and making recommendations to improve drilling processes.
- Evaluating well data and preparing reports to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize well performance.
- Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and advancements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
- Experience managing large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of drilling systems and equipment design.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of success in the drilling industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of drilling processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and drilling software applications
