Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our condominium complex. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of property management best practices, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to tenants and property owners alike. This role requires a proactive approach to managing property-related issues while ensuring compliance with Florida statutes and Fair Housing regulations while maintaining positive relationships with all residents, employees and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including vendor relations, maintenance, bookkeeping and resident relations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective marketing strategies for property vacancies.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and maintenance requests using Yardi or similar software.
- Implement conflict management strategies to address tenant concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations in all leasing and management activities.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for efficient service delivery.
- Provide administrative support related to real estate transactions and legal documentation as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is preferred.
- Excellent upselling skills with the ability to effectively market properties.
- Strong collaboration skills for working with sales teams and other departments.
- Experience in legal administrative tasks related to real estate transactions is a plus.
- Effective conflict management abilities to resolve tenant issues amicably.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations is essential for compliance.
