General Description
This position has primary responsibility for food preparation, following standardized menu instructions and recipes. Follows established sanitation and safety procedures, as well as adheres to infection control guidelines. Serves food items on tray-line. Must keep work areas, equipment, utensils, and tools washed/sanitized. Assists in the loading and transporting of food carts to designated patient area. Will bake as required and assist with dish washing.
Experience/Education Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required. The ability to read, write and speak English is mandatory. Previous dietary/food service experience preferred. Must have the ability to calculate measurements in recipes to increase or decrease servings.
