The Director of Nursing is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest standards of patient care within our Hospice agency. This position requires a dynamic individual with extensive experience in the Hospice setting. The Director of Nursing will collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote client rights, implement effective nursing systems, and maintain compliance with medical regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursing team to ensure quality care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that align with best practices in hospice.
- Monitor patient care activities to ensure compliance with client rights and medical terminology standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of nursing staff performance and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Oversee the management of nursing resources, including staffing levels and equipment requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements related to nursing practices within the agency.
