Are you passionate about media, storytelling, and advocacy? Do you want press access to exclusive events, including celebrity gatherings and industry experiences? Auesomely You Magazine is looking for Media Correspondent Interns in all states to help capture and report on events that align with our mission of fostering autism acceptance, promoting inclusion, and creating meaningful conversations.
We are also actively looking to hire individuals on the autism spectrum who have a passion for media, journalism, and storytelling. Neurodivergent voices matter, and we are committed to creating opportunities for individuals who want to thrive in the media industry.
This unpaid internship offers hands-on media experience, mentorship under the founder, and the opportunity to build your portfolio with published articles, interviews, and event coverage.
Requirements:
✅ Must be 21 years or older
✅ Must own a smartphone with high-quality camera capabilities
✅ Must own a tripod for stable recording
✅ Must be willing to train under the founder before covering events
✅ Must submit content (photos, videos, and write-ups) within 24 hours after an event
✅ Must dress professionally for high-profile and industry events
✅ Must be able to maintain professionalism at all times, as some events include celebrity appearances and industry executives
✅ Must understand that while not all events will fully align with our brand’s mission, our goal is to foster inclusion, create neurodiverse spaces, and facilitate meaningful conversations
✅ You can be a Media Correspondent in ANY state! You must be willing to attend events in your area, and all events must be approved before coverage.
🎤 Responsibilities:
📍 Attend events as an official media representative for Auesomely You Magazine
📍 Capture high-quality photos, videos, and interviews for social media and editorial content
📍 Conduct on-camera interviews with speakers, guests, and attendees
📍 Write pre-event and post-event articles for select events
📍 Engage professionally and respectfully in diverse environments, ensuring our brand’s mission is reflected in all media coverage
📍 Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure timely and compelling event coverage
