Plaza Mariachi is looking for a Front of House Manager for Taqueria Hidalgo and Tres Gauchos at Plaza Mariachi to provide guests an exemplary dining experience. This role is responsible for hiring, training, developing, and evaluating team members such as cashiers and will supervise and oversee daily store operations to ensure profitability through outstanding store presentation, guest service, and daily operational cost control.
Responsibilities
- Engage and welcome each guest personally
- Manage restaurant social media accounts in accordance with the approved guidelines
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards mandated by state, federal and OSHA regulations
- Carry out other duties assigned by the food and beverage manager
- Menu Development
Qualifications
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Good attention to detail, organizational, time management, problem-solving.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a manager position within the restaurant business is preferred
