What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Evening/Weekend Domestic Violence Advocate/Shelter Monitor position at Auglaize County Crisis Center?
The Auglaize County Crisis Center Inc. seeks an individual for a part time position to deal effectively and confidentially in the field of domestic violence. This position is part time on weeknight evenings and weekend days/evenings and holidays. Two-year degree in human services or related field is preferable. Qualifications include ability to relate to all socioeconomic levels within the community, ability to build survivor rapport and provide situational support for survivors, ability to keep confidential all information regarding individuals served through this agency and the location of the facility confidential. Responsibilities include provide active support to survivors, monitor evening/weekend activity at the shelter, answer crisis line, transport survivors, convey information with accuracy, cleaning/sanitizing, perform residential task checks, complete logs, progress reports and all appropriate documentation, adhere to established policies, fill holiday, weekend, and evening hours. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Must possess valid driver's license.
