What are the responsibilities and job description for the Funding Analyst position at Augment Analytics?
We are seeking a Funding Analyst to contribute to the continued growth and success of our residential loan acquisition platform. The Ops team plays a key role in the overall success of the organization by ensuring timely and accurate settlements of loan transactions. The Funding Analyst will have a particular focus on pre-settlement funding management, closing transaction execution and technology / data integrations throughout the entire process. This is a high visibility role that works with teams such as Capital Markets, Treasury, Contract Finance and Servicing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare funding schedules for daily settlements and circulate to various stakeholders including clients and management
- Review and satisfy funding checklists to ensure clean trade execution
- Transfer, track and manage collateral related to trades
- Create data comparison files to ensure accuracy of information
- Continually work to improve funding processes to remove bottlenecks and increase accuracy
