Key Responsibilities
- Compensation Analysis: Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to ensure compensation practices are aligned with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Job Evaluation: Analyze job descriptions, assess job responsibilities, and determine appropriate salary grades and compensation levels.
- Data Management: Maintain and update compensation databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Reporting: Generate and present compensation reports, including salary trends, compensation structure analysis, and equity audits to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including wage and hour laws.
- Program Development: Assist in designing and implementing compensation programs, including base salary, incentive plans, and bonus structures.
- Employee Support: Provide compensation-related guidance and support to employees and HR teams, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related role.
- Strong understanding of compensation principles, salary surveys, and compensation structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data effectively.
- Certification such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar credentials.
- Experience with compensation management software and data analytics tools.
