Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Asset Management to lead and manage the organization’s asset management function. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the performance, strategy, and optimization of the company’s asset portfolio, ensuring that assets are utilized effectively and deliver maximum returns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimize the performance and value of the organization’s asset portfolio.
• Oversee the management of assets, including real estate, investments, and other physical or financial assets.
• Monitor asset performance, conduct regular assessments, and provide recommendations for improvements or reallocations.
• Collaborate with the executive team and other departments to align asset management strategies with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
• Lead the asset management team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for asset enhancement and risk mitigation.
• Prepare and present regular reports on asset performance, strategy, and market conditions to senior leadership and the board.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices related to asset management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including property managers, investment managers, and financial institutions.
• Oversee the budgeting and financial planning related to asset management, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPM) are preferred.
• 10 years of experience in asset management, with a proven track record in senior roles overseeing diverse asset portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of asset management strategies, financial analysis, and market dynamics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess asset performance and develop actionable strategies.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing asset management teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in asset management software, financial modeling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
