Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario testing to understand potential outcomes under various market conditions.
- Due Diligence: Assist in conducting due diligence on prospective investments, including reviewing fund manager track records, analyzing investment strategies, and assessing operational risks. Collaborate with senior team members in evaluating fund performance and making investment recommendations.
- Portfolio Management Support: Support portfolio managers in portfolio construction, asset allocation decisions, and risk management strategies. Monitor portfolio performance, analyze performance attribution, and assist in implementing trades and rebalancing strategies.
- Market Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor financial markets, track relevant news, and stay updated on regulatory changes and market trends impacting investment decisions. - Risk Management: Assist in assessing and managing portfolio risks, including market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, and operational risk. Implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor risk exposures to ensure compliance with risk management policies and guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Finance) or professional certifications (CFA) are preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, investment research, or a related role within the financial services industry, preferably in hedge funds or asset management.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques (DCF, comparable company analysis). Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or other financial data platforms is a plus.
- Advanced analytical skills with a solid understanding of statistical methods and quantitative analysis. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and investment recommendations to colleagues and stakeholders.

- The base salary for a Hedge Fund Analyst/Associate typically ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
