Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hedge Fund Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hedge fund. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the back-office functions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and optimizing operational processes to support trading activities. This role requires a strong understanding of hedge fund operations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the hedge fund, including trade settlement, reconciliation, and cash management.
• Manage and supervise the back-office team to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Coordinate with traders, portfolio managers, and external counterparties to resolve any operational issues.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Monitor fund performance and prepare detailed reports for senior management and investors.
• Collaborate with the IT department to optimize and maintain trading systems and software.
• Lead initiatives for process improvement and automation within the operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in hedge fund operations or a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of hedge fund structures, financial instruments, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Advent, MS Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
