Overview

As a Junior Financial Analyst - Reporting at Augmentjobs, you will play a key role in supporting the financial reporting process. You will assist in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist in the generation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and anomalies. Provide insights and recommendations based on your findings.
  • Compliance: Ensure that financial reports comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgets. Monitor performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
  • Reporting Systems: Maintain and update financial reporting systems and tools to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation for financial reporting processes and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other finance team members and departments to gather data and ensure the accuracy of financial reports.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct special financial analyses and projects as required by management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial reporting systems).
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of financial reporting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to team goals.
