Key Responsibilities
- System Monitoring and Support:
- Monitor IT systems, networks, and applications to ensure performance and availability.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
- Perform routine maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Incident and Problem Management:
- Log and track incidents and service requests using an IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior analysts as needed.
- Contribute to the documentation of common issues and solutions to build a knowledge base.
- Configuration and Deployment:
- Support the deployment of new software and hardware, including installation and configuration.
- Assist in maintaining system configurations and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network access.
- Assist in creating and updating user documentation and training materials.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate and review system performance reports and metrics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in an IT support or operations role preferred.
- Familiarity with IT systems, networks, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
- Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) is a plus.
- Certifications (Optional):
- CompTIA A , ITIL Foundation, or similar certifications are advantageous.
