- Project Management: Assist in managing software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and support to software development teams, including developers, testers, and other technical staff. Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure team members have the resources and support needed to complete their work effectively.
- Technical Guidance: Offer technical guidance and expertise to team members, helping to solve complex technical challenges and providing mentorship on software development best practices, coding standards, and design principles.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the software development lifecycle. Implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance team efficiency, productivity, and quality of deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery or quality. Proactively address challenges, escalate issues as needed, and implement contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.
- Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and key deliverables.
- Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of project requirements, specifications, design decisions, and implementation details. Maintain project documentation in a centralized repository for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in project management or leadership are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development, with some exposure to leadership or management roles. Experience working on software development projects in an Agile or Scrum environment is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C , or JavaScript. Familiarity with software development tools and technologies, such as version control systems, IDEs, and issue tracking systems.
- Project Management: Basic knowledge of project management principles and practices. Experience with project management tools and techniques for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong listening skills and ability to build rapport with team members and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
