Key Responsibilities
- Cost Analysis: Analyze and monitor costs related to production, inventory, and operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Identify and investigate variances and provide actionable recommendations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage cost budgets and forecasts. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, and perform variance analysis to support financial planning.
- Cost Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and financial statements for management review. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of cost data.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory accounting and valuation, including the assessment of inventory reserves and obsolescence. Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in cost accounting procedures. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and procurement, to gather data, understand cost drivers, and support cross-functional initiatives.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
