Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Compliance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our company's financial compliance program, ensuring that all financial practices and activities align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial compliance, a strong understanding of financial regulations, and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, including SEC, SOX, and GAAP. Stay updated on changes in regulations and assess their impact on the company.
  • Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain financial compliance policies and procedures. Ensure these policies are effectively communicated and understood throughout the organization.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial compliance risks. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure a proactive approach to compliance management.
  • Audits and Reviews: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits related to financial compliance. Prepare audit documentation and respond to audit inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to finance and accounting teams on compliance-related matters. Foster a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on compliance status, issues, and improvements to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current compliance processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders regarding financial compliance issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial compliance or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior role.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing compliance programs and successfully handling audits.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to practical situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
