Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports.
- Cash Flow and Investments: Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure the organization has adequate liquidity. Oversee investment strategies and manage relationships with financial institutions.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including credit, liquidity, and market risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, laws, and standards. Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and senior management.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the development of long-term financial strategies and goals. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance team. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Policy Development: Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and risk management practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in financial software and systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
