- Conduct thorough research and analysis on potential investment opportunities, including market trends, competitive landscapes, and financial performance of startups.
- Assist in evaluating business models, financial projections, and growth potential of early-stage companies.
- Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses to support investment recommendations.
- Participate in the due diligence process, including assessing operational, financial, and market risks of potential investments.
- Prepare detailed investment reports, presentations, and memos for internal review and investment committee discussions.
- Support the monitoring and management of existing portfolio companies, including tracking performance and identifying opportunities for value creation.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop and refine investment strategies and recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and startup ecosystems to provide insights into potential investment opportunities.
- Assist in the coordination of meetings and interactions with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- In-depth understanding of venture capital markets, startup ecosystems, and early-stage investment processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex business concepts.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with due diligence processes and startup investments is highly preferred.
- Progress towards CFA® or other relevant certifications is an advantage.
