Responsibilities
- Source and identify high-potential startups and investment opportunities in line with the firm’s investment thesis.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including market analysis, financial modeling, and competitive assessments, to evaluate potential investments.
- Work closely with the investment committee to present and advocate for investment opportunities.
- Support portfolio companies with strategic guidance, mentorship, and access to networks, helping them scale and achieve key milestones.
- Leverage your network to build relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and other key players in the startup ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the firm's partners and investment team to develop and refine investment strategies.
- Participate in board meetings and provide ongoing support and oversight for portfolio companies.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance its presence and brand in the venture capital community.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to inform investment decisions.
- Proven experience as a founder, executive, or investor in the startup ecosystem, with a strong track record of successful investments or company exits.
- Deep understanding of venture capital, investment processes, and startup financing.
- Strong deal-sourcing capabilities and a broad network of contacts within the startup and venture capital communities.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate business models, financials, and market opportunities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to mentor and advise early-stage companies on strategy, growth, and scaling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
