Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to lift various items from floor to bench height in the course of assembly activities (50 pounds)
• Ability to differentiate colors (i.e., working components)
• This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Responsibilities

• Job Summary - Assembles routine electrical and mechanical equipment using common hand and power tools
• Builds equipment from assembly procedures, blueprints, engineering sketches, and verbal instructions
• Works under direct supervisor
• Performs routine and repetitive assembly tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment
• Builds equipment from assembly procedures, blueprints, engineering sketches, and verbal instructions
• Recognizes defective or damaged parts and incorrect sizes
• Complies with acceptable quality standards using appropriate hand and power tools
• Adheres to company health and safety standards
• Performs other duties as required or assigned (under direct supervision if necessary)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.78 per hour
