What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Sports Medicine Assistant Academic Year 2024-25 position at Augsburg University?
Essential job functions include but are not limited to :
- Provide athletic taping and assist with medical treatments for athletes
- Practice / game preparations and coverage supervised by certified athletic trainer
- General cleaning and athletic training room maintenance & basic office administrative tasks
- Assist with medical record keeping and computer input
- Provide / assist with First Aid and possible CPR in an emergency situation (training provided)
- Some travel with athletic teams may be necessary
- The position may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Training will be provided.
