Job Summary:
As the Dental Office Manager / Front Desk, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our office, ensuring a smooth patient experience from the moment they walk through the door. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and will be responsible for managing both administrative and operational duties to keep the office running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment calendars for the dental team.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and address patient needs or concerns.
- Verify insurance information and manage patient billing and payments.
- Ensure that patient records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle office supplies and equipment management, keeping the office well-stocked.
- Assist with marketing efforts to increase patient engagement and office visibility.
- Supervise front desk staff and provide support as needed.
- Ensure office compliance with health, safety, and privacy regulations.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure smooth patient flow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Office Manager or Front Desk Receptionist in a dental or medical office.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with dental software and scheduling systems
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, billing, and coding is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).
