Position Overview:
August Rose Health Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Supervisor to join our outpatient mental health clinic. Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Oversight:
- Provide clinical supervision to a team of mental health therapists, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
- Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions, offering constructive feedback and support for professional growth.
- Review and approve treatment plans, session notes, and assessments to ensure high-quality care.
- Staff Development:
- Mentor and guide therapists, promoting their ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.
- Identify training needs and provide opportunities for continuing education and workshops to enhance clinical knowledge.
- Quality Assurance:
- Monitor the quality of clinical services provided by the therapists, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and clinic policies.
- Case Consultation:
- Provide case consultation to therapists on complex client cases, assisting with treatment planning and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with therapists to address any challenges in providing effective care to clients.
- Client-Centered Care:
- Encourage a client-centered approach to therapy, promoting culturally sensitive and inclusive practices.

- Collaborative Leadership:
- Work closely with the Medical Director and other members of the management team to contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
- Collaborate with the administrative staff and the psychiatrist to optimize clinic operations and client services.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Licensure as an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical), or a related license in the state of Maryland.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical practice, with a proven track record in therapy and counseling.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a mental health setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Knowledge of clinical best practices, ethical guidelines, and industry regulations.
