EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
The Valley Career & Technical Center is a regional school serving 550 juniors and seniors from seven public high schools
in Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro. VCTC provides high-quality technical education and career preparation to
meet the needs of today's high school students through intensive training, dual-enrollment coursework, and work-based
learning. High school students may enroll in programs in the following broad career areas : Agriculture, Hospitality,
Mechanics and Transportation, Construction, Manufacturing, Health Sciences, Education, Human services, and Public

Qualifying Credentials and / or Education Requirements
- Master's Degree in School Counseling or areas related to student development preferred.
- Interest in facilitating individual student development in academic, career and personal areas and facilitating student experiences in career development
- Growth mind-set with interest in life-long learning, professional development, and collaboration.
- 5 years in school district experience preferred
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Classification
Teacher - 210 days per year, 7.5 hours per day
