The Augusta County Sheriff’s Department is seeking service oriented individuals to work in the records department, which operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. This position requires the ability to work a rotating shift schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime and be on call as needed.
Qualified persons with an interest in working for a progressive Sheriffs Office that values teamwork and high quality performance are encouraged to apply. Applicant must have a high school diploma or GED. Additionally the ideal candidate will be able to use a personal computer, have excellent customer service skills, work effectively under stressful situations, establish work priorities, make sound decisions in accordance with departmental policy and procedures, and possess outstanding verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain a Virginia driver’s license.
