What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant District Attorney position at Augusta District Attorney's Office?
Do you want the work you do to matter? Do you want your practice of law to impact lives? Do you believe our criminal justice system should be more fair, more effective, and more focused on the crimes that impact public safety? If so, consider becoming an Assistant District Attorney in the Augusta Judicial Circuit.
We currently have a position for a curious and independent thinker who wants to make an impact on our community. Our trial division is focused on major crimes, from burglary and narco-trafficking, all the way to gang shootings, homicides, and special victims cases. You will interview witnesses and guide our law enforcement partners. Most importantly, you will try important cases in the Superior Court, making real impact on community safety.
If this sounds like the type of lawyer you want to be, or if you are an experienced prosecutor looking for a change of scenery, we encourage you to join us in Augusta!
