Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to navigate efficiently. This position is crucial for maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Duties

• Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling of items during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
• Assist with moving items as necessary, demonstrating physical capability to handle various loads.
• Utilize manual transmission vehicles when required, showcasing versatility in driving skills.
• Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
• Ability to operate box trucks and vans safely; experience with manual transmission is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy packages and perform moving tasks as required.
• Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
