As a Front End Specialist, you will support the Augusta/CSRA Habitat Mission by ensuring your customers get a positive experience through your friendly and helpful manner. Responsibilities:
- Interacting positively with donors, customers and volunteers.
- Delivering a memorable, professional customer experience that leads to building our reputation for excellent service.
- Taking initiative in down time to maintain a clean and organized work space.
- Recognizing customers that enter and exit our building.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space on a daily basis and ensuring all supply levels are maintained.
- Communicating with partners and on pricing, service and product issues as needed.
- Knowing what products we have on the selling floor by taking a store tour each morning.
- Keeping abreast of store activities, projects, and priorities by visiting the workload board each morning.
- Taking necessary steps at the register to ensure cash controls are in place to eliminate shortages.
- Being fluent in all register operations, including managing discounts.
- Maintaining a safe workspace, ensuring standards are maintained and enforced.
- Following all store policies and procedures.
- Supporting the ReStore in reaching its annual goals.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Customer service/cashier experience
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time, under pressure.
- Experienced in register operations, demonstrates good cash controls to minimize shortages.
- Computer savvy, with an ability to learn new processes quickly.
- Superior customer service skills, demonstrates a positive approach to problem solving.
- Substance screening, criminal background check, and reference check will be conducted on prospective employee prior to extension of a job offer

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
