What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Women’s and Children’s Services position at Augusta Health Brand?
The Director of Women’s Health and Children’s will play a key leadership role in strategy/visioning, directing, and day-to-day operations of the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives & goals. Additionally, will lead in execution of development & sustaining physician relationships, program development/access, patient and referral source satisfaction, and budget preparation/profitability. The Director of Women’s Health and Children’s will integrate with the organization’s operations, participate in performance improvement activities, and ensure professional and regulatory compliance is achieved in all areas of responsibility. Responsible & available within respective area for the total number of hours that the unit is operational. Additionally, this position is part of the greater nursing division leadership team and will need to be an active member of that team and work toward the success of respective department as well as the greater organization.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business or Healthcare Administration
- 3 years of experience in nursing management/ leadership experience in specialty and/or respective area
