- Coordinates inpatient and outpatient specimen collection and workflow to ensure specimen integrity, timely collection, and transport.
- Collects samples from infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients using a variety of techniques.
- Demonstrates knowledge of quality, safety, and compliance protocols.
- Provides exceptional customer service and works to promote a positive work environment.
- Enters required data elements, documents, and delivers specimens to the lab for testing.
- Quality issues are addressed in a timely manner and appropriately escalated as needed.
- Duties are conducted to ensure a safe working environment for patients, visitors and team members.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
