Surgical Services at Augusta Health combines community care with state of the art technology to provide high quality and patient centered care. Nurses are vital to this quality patient care. As an operating room nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a high tech surgery suite and perform a wide range of services to your patient from scheduled elective cases to emergent surgical procedures. The OR RN plans and performs nursing care to patients from a variety of acuity levels during the operative phase. The RN is responsible for providing a safe environment during the surgical procedure. We currently have a full time Registered Nurse (RN) position open in our OR. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serves as a leader of the patient care team. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care. *Potential for $5 - $10k sign on bonus for qualified candidates*

Requirements
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience required
- Operating Room experience highly preferred
- BSN or ADN currently enrolled in a BSN program preferred
- BLS certification required
- Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management skills
