What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Therapist (INPATIENT) - PRN position at Augusta Health Brand?
Position is responsible for evaluating each patient (pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) assigned to them, determine short-term and long-term goals in conjunction with the patient and other team members when appropriate, develop and implement a comprehensive treatment program to meet these goals with direct supervision as needed for new graduates, and perform these tasks in a timely, effective manner that corresponds to the productivity standards for the department.
Additional responsibilities will include administrative assignments as assigned.
Requirements
- Current or eligible for licensure in the State of Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
- Membership in national professional organization is required.
- Two years of clinical experience is preferred
- One weekend/month
