Description
Rotating Shifts with every other weekend and holidays
The Pharmacy Technician performs, under pharmacist supervision, a variety of technical duties related to the procurement, storage, preparation and dispensing of drugs according to standard procedures. This includes, but is not limited to filling medication orders, restocking automation, sterile and non-sterile compounding, filling boxes, kits and trays, and providing medication reconciliation activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- National Certification preferred.
