What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Engineer I position at Augusta Health?
The Network Engineers role is to architect, assess technology trends, issues and define technical solutions to support Augusta Health’s Information Technology infrastructure.
Additionally, the Network Engineer will work with Information Security and Compliance to develop and implement configuration standards that adhere to PCI/DSS, HIPAA and NIST 800-53 security controls for all Network assets.
The Network Engineer will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation Augusta Health’s wired, wireless and VoIP networks that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by managing the planning, configuration, installation, systems management, and coordination of enterprise LANs/WANs, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient infrastructure that will provide the throughput essential to business unit and departmental operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Graduate.
- Appropriate certification within 6 months of hire.
- 1 of year(s) of IT Experience.
