What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist PRN - Home Health position at Augusta Health?
The Occupational Therapist for Home Health will assess and implement plan of care of occupational health needs to patient in a home setting and provide treatments to patients and evaluates progress as well as assist in the instruction of additional occupational therapy personnel, students, home health aides, and volunteers. The individual must demonstrate the ability to interact with team members for an interdisciplinary team approach. Patient care is provided across the life span; therefore, clinicians will interpret data and assess patient's needs relative to age specificity standards. This role reports to the Home Health Therapy Manager.
Requirements
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Occupational Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Occupational Therapist experience preferred
- Home Health experience preferred
- Valid VA driver license required
