Essential Functions of the Job
Provides immediate attention to all members and guests when they are seated.
Distributes menus if the Dining Room Captain has not done so. Answers any questions regarding the menu.
Takes the members and guests’ order.
Turns in orders to kitchen; communicates with cooks about any special cooking instructions or requests.
Serves meals and beverages using the proper sequence of service and serving techniques.
Gives complete attention to members and their guests during the dining experience. Provides members and guests with any additional items (i.e. condiments, water) they may need while dining.
Suggests and serves dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks.
Performs all opening and closing side work correctly.
Posts all checks at the conclusion of the meal through POS. Ensure all charges are correct.
Keeps tables, dining room and bus stations clean and tidy.
Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Captain.

Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, operate a computer and/or drive a golf cart.
Constantly required to use arms, hands, and fingers to handle, organize or lift items up to 50 pounds.
Constantly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and use vision to perform an activity such as but not limited to determining the accuracy, neatness, attention to detail, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities
Assures that all safety, accident, sanitation, and emergency policies are observed. Reports any violation to the Assistant Clubhouse Manager.
Performs all other duties which are deemed by Captain to be an integral part of the job
Qualifications:
Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:
- Maintains knowledge of menu selections offered, table service techniques, check control and wine service techniques.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner and make the members and guests feel welcome.
Relative Experience/Education:
0 - 2 years’ experience as a waiter, preferably in a club or hotel environment
High school degree or equivalent.
Required License(s):
Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program
Projected Work Schedule:
Must be available for a varying work schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
