JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will oversee projects for the Custom Solutions Team. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and managing projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets, ensuring quality control throughout the project life cycle. Success in this position relies on the ability to manage complex projects, facilitate communication between IT and business teams, and deliver results on time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):

  • Develop, lead, and manage all aspects of the project life cycle, from project kick-off through closure.
  • Work with project sponsors and stakeholders to complete project charters outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
  • Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Monitor progress, make adjustments as needed, and resolve issues throughout the project life cycle.
  • Communicate regularly with executives and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and project objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects across divisions and departments, ensuring all key stakeholders understand progress, roadblocks, and successes.
  • Track internal hours and manage external vendor budgets, providing monthly reports on project status and adherence to timelines.
  • Measure project performance and conduct post-project evaluations to assess ROI and effectiveness.
  • Build strong cross-divisional and cross-departmental relationships, fostering collaboration to drive projects to successful conclusions.
  • Provide high levels of customer service to business partners and end users, building trusted partnerships.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in business, Management, IT, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing and planning complex projects, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and under budget.
  • Strong experience with project management software tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with apparel manufacturing and distribution is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-divisional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong budget management and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
  • A love of Post-Its, colored pens, calendars and sending reminder emails is a must.
