JOB SUMMARY:
A Lead Inventory Clerk is an entry-level professional employed by Momentec Brands to lead the day-to-day inventory control responsibilities in an effort to ensure finished goods are stored properly and inventory accuracy integrity remains constant. Coordinating the incoming and outgoing process of products, this person ensures that orders can be filled, the finished goods are properly stocked, and each piece of merchandise is accounted for.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
- Responsible for orchestrating the movements and storage of the finished goods in the warehouse and running a daily allocation report throughout the workday.
- Works independently of direct supervision and will be part of a small team that supports a much bigger team within the organization.
- Will work in an office, but not limited to the warehouse floor.
- Will work with automated inventory management equipment such as computer software programs, scanners and photoelectric controlled conveyor belt networks aiding the inventory control specialists in maintaining accurate records of finished goods.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

- Candidate must be familiar with integrated operation systems and inventory control basic skill sets.
- Personal computer skills are required which will include; Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Candidate should have strong basic math skills.
- Must have the basic problem-solving skills to include root cause identification and corrective action resolutions.
- Must be organized and demonstrate the ability to document detail events, utilize log event files, and recognize trends related to process degradation.
- Must be respectful to co-workers, lead personnel and supervision.
- Forklift and Order Picker certification is preferred.
- Ability to monitor and recognize obvious faults or defects and report these to a supervisor or senior management. In addition, recognize warehouse issues, particularly if these pose a threat to workers’ health and safety.
- Ability to check order documents and ensure that the product is correct, and the quantities are accurate.
- Ability to audit warehouse stock and reconcile variances using system tools and basic problem-solving techniques.
- Must understand supply chain management and how inventory accuracy is the key to excellent customer service.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to lead the daily work load of inventory control.

- Ability to endure occasional movement bending, stooping, and reaching above shoulder level as needed for daily tasks.
- Occasionally climb stairs to multi-level work site.
